Superman ain’t looking so super. Things are so bad, in fact, that even the Man of Steel can’t protect himself from being dubbed this week’s “Falling Star”!

The comic book hero is apparently set to renounce his U.S. citizenship. He reportedly makes the uber unpatriotic move in the 900th issue of the classic super hero story by Action Comics.

The Metropolis, USA, resident is quoted in the issue as saying, “I intend to speak before the United Nations tomorrow and inform them that I am renouncing my U.S. citizenship. I’m tired of having my actions construed as instruments of U.S. policy.” Superman sources say the red-caped one’s support of a non-violent protest in Iran led to friction with American government officials.

Superman obviously needs a better P.R. team. He even goes as far as scoffing at his famous saying, declaring, “Truth, justice, and the American way – it’s not enough anymore.”

It’s not a bird, or a plane – it’s…Unloyal Man? Just doesn’t have the same ring to it. And where does a super hero go when he decides to abandon his country? I hear they’re looking for a few good men on Krypton.

The Royal wedding

Kate Middleton looked like a modern fairytale in her Alexander McQueen (by Sarah Burton) dress.

Lady Gaga must be jumping in Gaaaa!!

Anyways, I loved the dress! It looked a lot like Grace Kelly’s wedding dress, with the long laced sleeves, which looked so elegant on her!

Ofcourse the drama here is, why did the sister-Pippa wear white too? Who cares? it’s gonna start a new trend that I can tell you. And I love that Kate had so much confidence in her self that she didn’t mind sharing her colour code!

And I love that she stayed true to her own sense of style: small crown, light veil- the perfect choice for Kate.

She’s a modern-day princess, living the modern-day fairytale. I sincerely hope that she and Prince William share a lifetime of happiness! Congratulations!

The Beckhams

More sex and city!!!!Yay!!

“Summer In The City” is not just a hit song in the ‘60s by Lovin’ Spoonful.

It’s also author Candace Bushnell‘s second “prequel” young adult novel about Carrie Bradshaw, from sex n the city.

Summer In The City picks up where The Carrie Diaries left off: it’s the ‘80s, 17-year-old Carrie Bradshaw has come to New York City to take writing classes the summer before college, and she gets mugged as soon as she steps out of Port Authority.

Carrie calls the one phone number she has on her — her best friend’s cousin — and meets Samantha Jones, her first friend in New York.

Later in the book, Carrie meets Miranda Hobbes “in front of Saks, where Miranda is protesting pornography,”.

Charlotte York does not seem to make an appearance in Summer In The City — but maybe that will be for a possible third prequel.

Wonder who would play a teen carrie if it were made in a series!

Here’s a way for you to help and make a difference.

My lovely sister Shina brought this wonderful cause to my attention from Kenya and it got me thinking- I live in Kenya, My people are suffering and I had nearly no clue.

A home Started in Dec. 2005 in Dagoretti Division in Nairobi West District by Rev. Joseph Munywoki now based in Kajiado North District in Ngong, needs any help you can give it.

It’s called The Sons of Manaseh and it’s Mission is to change the lives of children by giving them shelter, care, educaton, food, health, guidance, and counseling.

Manaseh Children’s Home (Manaseh) is a collaborative and participatory network focusing on enhancing the capacity of boys and girls in and around Nairobi. Their beneficiaries have been the result of abuse, harassment, neglect and abandonment by parents or guardians.

The center was established in the Nairobi Dagoretti Division in 2005 by Director Joseph Munyoki, and currently houses about 30 boys and girls as well as supporting others through an outreach program.

The children are not only provided with food and shelter, but also education, a loving environment and opportunities for extra-curricular activities.

It is a home for those children with no one else to care for them and nowhere else to turn.

Manaseh is firmly focused on the future of those it rescues, but requires strong and widespread support for sustained operation and growth.

Jessica Simpson style icon of the year?

Jessica Simpson was named Us Weekly’s Style Icon of the Year. The singer’s fashion line has raked in $750 million.

Jessica Simpson said that she has the best job in the world and she is finally happy in every sphere  of her life. She has taken time to enjoy being engaged and being a businesswoman instead of an entertainer. And she believes this has really helped the collection.

Nice to see the girl who didn’t know tuna was fish come so far in life- there’s hope yet for Lindsay lohan.

WTH? Kimberly Stewart having Benecio’s baby?

Benicio del Toro and Kimberly Stewart are expecting a baby together. Benicio won an Oscar for his role in Traffic, and Kimberly — daughter of Rod Stewart — is best known as Paris Hilton’s one-time BFF.

Benicio’s rep confirmed the news,  “Kimberly is pregnant. Benicio is the father and is very supportive. Although they are not a couple, they are looking forward to the arrival of the baby.”

It will be the first child for both del Toro, 44, and Stewart, 31.

Kimberly has been romantically linked to Jude Law and Rhys Ifans, and in 2005 she was engaged to then-Laguna Beach star Talan Torriero, who was seven years her junior.

Good for them but am still in shock!

Donald vs Cosby!

f there is one thing we know about Donald Trump, we know he doesn’t back down from a fight – yet, we feel like he’s going to be doing a lot of fighting in the coming weeks, especially if he is serious about running for Presdient.

Last week, Bill Cosby was on The Today Show and blasted the Donald about his Presidential “campaign” and told him to “run or shut up.” A pretty tame blast, if you ask us, but it apparently riled up Trump so much that he felt the need to release a full-fledged statement about it. The statement reads:

The other day on The Today Show, right after I was interviewed by Meredith Vieira, a terrific person and reporter, I happened to watch Bill Cosby who was on at the end of the show. While I have never been a fan of Cosby’s, I had always assumed he liked or respected me because every time I met him—the last time at the David Letterman show where I preceded him as a guest—he was always so nice, saying “let’s get together”—asking me out to dinner, and being polite to the point of offering to buy me a suit because he has a “great tailor.”

In any event, as I watched the show, the subject of Donald Trump came up. I was surprised to hear him blabber, somewhat incoherently “you run or shut up.” The hatred was pouring out of his eyes when he said this. As I am sure he must know I cannot run until this season of Celebrity Apprentice ends. I know that he has taken a lot of heat over the years in that he seems to be talking down to the people he’s talking to and purportedly trying to help. Actually, based on the way he acted, things are not looking too good for Cosby.

I wish he would be more honest, and if he doesn’t want me to run because he’s obviously an Obama fan, he should state the reasons and not come into my “green room” in front of numerous witnesses and treat me like his best friend, only to denigrate me when I’m not around. Sadly, he got more attention talking about me than he did on the merits of his own appearance—maybe he is not as dumb as I thought.

Oh, get over yourself, Donald. The guy simply was pointing out the obvious – you’re wishy-washy when you come to your “plans” for running for President. You’re teasing everyone with a will-I, won’t-I game and it’s childish and unnecessary…just like this statement.

Grow up!
